Champion Beer Of Britain (NW) Result

On Friday, the festival hosted judging for the North West round of the Champion Beer Of Britain competition in the Premium Pale Ales category (that’s Pale Ales from 4.4% to 6.4%)

Eight beers as selected by the votes of CAMRA Members and the CAMRA Tasting Panels were blind tasted by a panel made up of brewers, industry staff and CAMRA volunteers.

The results were:

Gold: Neptune Brewery – Mosaic

Silver: Blackedge Brewery – Kiwi

Bronze: Storm Brewery – Isobar

Congratulations to Neptune Brewery – their Mosaic will go forward to the national finals of the competition which will be judged in London in 2024.

Other finalists were:

  • Bank Top – Palomino Rising
  • Hawkshead – Lakeland Gold
  • Kirkby Lonsdale – Monumental
  • Moorhouses – Blonde Witch
  • RedWillow – Wreckless
